At Ice Tracks we deeply believe that by supporting Polar Science & Heritage we will conserve Polar history to future generations. In an effort to give something back to the polar world, Ice Tracks Expeditions is committed to working closely with Friends of Scott Polar Institute as one of their “Executive Friends” running special expeditions for its members and donating a percentage of profits from each of its voyages to Friends of SPRI.
We are thrilled to be able to contribute to the wonderful work carried out by the Friends of SPRI who raise much needed funds to support Polar Science & Heritage. Besides its world-class research in both the sciences and social sciences, the Institute houses an outstanding Polar Museum and the world’s most comprehensive Arctic and Antarctic library and one of the largest collections of manuscript and other unpublished material relating to the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
It is essential that polar science, history and gathering material relating to the last frontiers on earth should continue for further generations and Ice Tracks is privileged to help keep this heritage for future generations of Polar enthusiasts.
